Craig died suddenly on
Saturday as the result of a massive heart attack. He contributed
greatly to OUA Lacrosse throughout his years as the Head Coach at
Western. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and
friends.

a coach within the OWL League during the 2002 and 2003 seasons as
his daughter Summer played for the Kitchener-Waterloo U-20 team.

CRAIG
A. WINDLEY 1956 - 2009 Passed away suddenly, on Saturday, January 17,
2009, at the age of 52 years. Beloved husband and best friend of 30 years to
Sandra Windley (Howey). Mentoring and loving father of Ryan (Ange), Kyle,
Summer, and Michael Windley. Proud Poppa to Hayden and Owen Windley.
Cherished son of Marian Windley. Son-in-law to Cynthia Howey. Caring brother
to Dave (Virginia), Carol Broome (Mike), and Tim. Brother-in-law to Rob
(Jodi), Cheryl, and Karen. Also survived by his many loving nieces and
nephews who cherished his words. Predeceased by his father, Daniel Windley;
nephew, Trevor Broome; and father-in-law, Bob Howey. Craig was a dialysis
patient who spoke highly of the service that is provided at Grand River
Hospital. Craig was involved in many sports. He was a "Coach" to all.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Craig with his family during
memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King
Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Visitation will continue Wednesday, January 21, 2009 from 1-1:45 p.m.
followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously accepted for the Renal
Dialysis Unit - Grand River Hospital and can be arranged by calling the
